Client Testimonials

"My wife and I are nearing retirement and big market crashes are a huge worry as we don't have the time to recover our pension value if stocks and shares tumble. Owning physical gold bars in our pension provides us with the insurance we need to ride out any potential bumps that may be around the corner".
Chris & Jane, Nottingham, semi-retired couple

"I always thought gold investment was only for the very rich and royalty. I wanted to be proactive about saving for my future but didn’t have capital to invest up front. The staff at Physical Gold Ltd were very flexible to my needs and I was able to set up regular contributions where I receive a handful of coins every quarter. Now I feel I’m on the road to building a secure next egg for my future".
David, South Wales, MBA student

Gold Coins For Sale in the UK

Buy bullion, rare and proof gold coins

There is a huge worldwide market in gold coins, made famous by the South African Krugerrand, the US Gold Eagle, and Canadian Maple Leaf. But for UK investors, it is the UK Sovereign and Britannia coins that offer a tax free method of investment.

Bullion Coins:

The best value for an investor to participate in gold coins is to purchase bullion coins. Certainly newer sovereign and Britannia coins will be of a higher condition than older coins of 100 years old, and they have less historical or collector’s value, so you get more gold for your money.

Rare Coins:

An alternative is to invest in numismatic (older) coins, which will be of varied and selected condition, but will have additional value due to their scarcity and collectibility. These are sometimes more difficult to source, depending on the buyer’s requirements and the coin, but can present a satisfying feeling of holding a part of history.

Proof Gold Coins:

Proof gold coins are struck to a much higher standard than bullion coins and generally have a highly polished mirror finish to the field (background) and a matte finish to the raised features. Many are encapsulated for protection and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, detailing issue limit and production information.
